Mitch Coats
Mitch Coats is a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Alexandre Paiva. Mitch has traveled to Brazil 5 times, spending more than a year total training in and fighting 4 times there!
Mitch has won titles at the 7th, 9th and 11th annual Grapplers Quest West Coast Championships, 2nd annual Pacific Northwest BJJ Championships, 2007 Grapplers Quest U.S. Nationals, and the Ultimate Submission Experience. 2008 NAGA Vegas 3rd in the Brown/Black belt middle weight. 2009 NAGA Vegas 1st in the Brown/Black belt middle weight.
He is also undefeated in Mixed Martial Arts competitions, 3-0. His enthusiasm for learning and dedication to training make him a formidable opponent on the mat and a wonderful instructor.
